speyBURNED.


The honeyed pleasures of Speyburn, sadly, have their pains incorporated. The scintillating texture, including what the label calls a "peaty finish," make for a delightful experience. But woe to thee who has to work in the morning! E Gads the "peaty finish" just hasn't finished yet. If anything, it has finished any plans I had to be productive today.

Still, I declare the Speyburn a charming single malt Highland Scotch from the (namesake) Speyside region (which lies between Elgin and Inverness) a welcome addition to my lifelong alcohol consumption checklist.
